Blogging Competition for P3 - P6

Dear children, a Blogging Competition for P3 - P6 pupils will be held in Term 4. The rules of the Competition are outlined below:

1. The contest is meant for P3 - P6 pupils.

2. All pupils who has an individual blog can participate in this contest.

3. The blog entries that will be considered for the competition will be from Term 2 (Week 2) to Term 4 (Week 6) for P5 & P6 and Term 3 (week 2) to Term 4 (Week 6) for P3 & P4.

4. EL Teachers will submit the blog addresses of the two best blogs to the EL Level Representatives by 20 October 2008.

5. Prizes will be awarded to the top three blogs from each level.

Rubrics for Assessment of Blogging Competition:

• Blog entries - Extensive number of journal entries made. Convey extensive evidence of a personal response to the issues. Very good use of Standard English with almost no errors in grammar, spelling and punctuation.

• Blog Skin/ Layout/ Design/ Interface - The design of the blog is excellent.It is very easy to read the blog entries.
